Finally! A slow day! BUT... one that started at 4:30 a.m. A flight from Shanghai to Wuhan where we were
met and entertained by Charles (on the Chinese flute). More...
After a fairly long ride from the airport, we went for lunch at a pretty "swish" restaurant with a Hummer extended-extended
limo in front. After lunch we went to the swish mall across the street to buy groceries for the boat ride... snacks and wine!
We embarked on our boat around 3 then waited... and waited.. and ate dinner... and waited... and wondered why we were not yet sailing. Jimmy's
tour group had taken a later flight which had been delayed at take off. Once that group was on the ship, we sailed almost immediately.
It had been dark quite awhile and we'd taken pictures of the beautiful lights. As we sailed away from the city, there were fewer
and fewer lights then pitch dark. We could see nothing at all. Time to sleep!
